This photography project ran over 6 weeks in October/November 2015 In the Red Cross Vin Day Center in Reykjavik Iceland. Vin is a day center which provides a range of activities and a communal atmosphere and safe haven for those suffering from mental illness. Participants met once a week for 2 hours to learn about photography and produce a final exhibition of their work.
This photo exhibition is the product of the photography course that the Irish photographer and SEEDS volunteer Aishling Muller offered in cooperation with SEEDS. Aishling had been a volunteer with SEEDS since June 2015 and led many photography based workcamps with the organization. The theme of the course was the Life in Vin and therefore most of the photos are taken inside the house.
Þessi ljósmyndasýning er afrakstur námskeiðs sem írski ljósmyndarinn og SEEDS sjálfboðaliðinn Aishling Muller bauð upp á í samstarfi við SEEDS. Aishling hefur verið sjálboðaliði hjá SEEDS frá því í juní fyrr á þessu ári (2015) og hefur leitt fjölda ljósmyndaverkefna með samtökunum. Þema námskeiðisins var lífið í Vin og eru því flestar myndanna teknar inni í húsinu.
